Hey,

As you all know the featured folder is full and the founder is not responding to the SOS call, so the second best option was to create a new folder for featured work. And that is exactly what I did.

The new folder is named "Featured 2011", from now you can put your featured work to this folder.

Any more suggestions ? If you have any, I would love to hear.

Thanks and Regards
Arya

Note :
1. I have removed "Random from Featured" Widget from the Group Home Page as that won't be fair to the New Submissions which are not going to be in the Featured Folder.
2. As you have noticed till now the group is only been about tutorials, no other work was allowed( since we didn't have appropriate folders ), but that's gotta change, so I have now created 2 New Folders, "Web Designs" and "Digital Painting and Airbrushing".
Do let me know if you want some other folders.

Possibly even stick figures, you name it you can add it! =D

Scraps
I am sorry for the spam, but I have run out of options! Ever heard of fractal art? its taking something small like a circle, or a brush stroke and using it over and over and over again to make a bigger picture- it is amazing! Go look it up
So I decided to make a fractal of my own using illustrator. Yes, I understand this would have been easier in Photoshop, but a lot more tedious and I am lazy. I am not even halfway done with one single part of it, and Illustrator CS6 is running slowly... The graphic I used for mine is a simple line with a plain stroke and fill- no other effects.
Is there a way to make this smaller/less complicated for my poor computer? I have turned a previous experiment that was a one segment of the main fragment that had a glowing effect on it into a png and just placed it into Illustrator, but the quality and even the color was lost... any suggestions?
I can't wait till this is finished- thanks!
